So In Australia, There could be the extension in Easter School Holidays in primary and high schools, federal Education Minister Dan Tehan warned on Thursday. “If the medical advice says we need to take extreme measures that is what the government will do but at the moment the medical advice is very clear. What is occurring is schools are temporarily shutting down and that will be the case unless the medical advice says otherwise.”
He said on ABC television on Thursday that School holidays might need to extend.
The federal education minister of Australia Dan Tehan also said that the trigger for more widespread closures of schools had not yet been reached, “but it does seem very clear now that the idea of containing the virus is getting harder and harder”.
Also according to reports, some schools temporarily are closed after some of the students are tested positive for Covid-19 and those two schools are in Sydney and two are schools in Melbourne.
